Biologia z angielskiej strony

Dzisiaj troszkę słownictwa biologicznego po angielsku. Oczywiście będą to tylko te najprostsze słówka i pojęcia, żeby nikogo nie zanudzić. Mam nadzieję, że dla większości tekst będzie zrozumiały. Jeśli nie znacie jakiegoś słówka, polecam najpierw zastanowić się nad jego znaczeniem z kontekstu, bo większości naprawdę można się domyślić. Na końcu notki napisałam tłumaczenia tych trudniejszych, więc jak już naprawdę nie będziecie mogli wpaść, co dane słówko znaczy, dowiecie się na końcu notki.

Food chain - a group of living things that are all connected because each one is eaten by the next in the series.

Insects are the most numerous and widespread type of living thing with 925,000 different species.

An animal that eats both plants and meat is called omnivore.

Animals are divided into:

a). invertebrates such as insects, worms etc.

b). vertebrates such as mammals, fish, reptiles.
